WELCOME!! IT IS SO NICE TO MEET YOU! THANKS FOR TAKING THE TIME TO BROWSE AROUND ! BECAUSE  PEOPLE  ARE ALWAYS SO CURIOUS , I DECIDED TO ADD A PAGE HERE SO YOU COULD GET A LITTLE GLIMPSE OF "BEHIND THE SCENES", MIXED WITH A LITTLE BIT OF HISTORY ABOUT HOW  EXOTIC EXPRESSIONS  GOT STARTED.   Up there,... thats me! My name is Terri and this is my business, and (as any business owner would know) I pretty much have my hands full. I always seem to be working on about 10 projects at once.  I design most of the jewelry, and do much of this work myself. I have helpers though, beaders, and models, and show helpers,and they all do a great job in their own area of expertise! Exotic Expressions is a relatively small business, but we would love to run with the big dogs some day! If we could just get noticed by the right persons! This website getting noticed thing has been a bit frustrating, and it is all so time consuming! Any suggestions on ways to get my jewelry "out there" would be welcome ! We have great stuff! And it is very durable, and very patiently and sometimes tediously made. It all started as a hobby, then turned business accidentally on purpose. (Really!) I won't bore you with the details, but it has been an uphill climb, being an entrepreneur and all.  Just know that heart and soul goes into your jewelry, and we make every attempt to keep you happy and smiling. Those who are familiar with my work seem to be very happy, and that pleases me. When an individual buys a necklace, and I do not see them for 2 years, (and I wonder where they went) Later they pop in, only to find out  they love their necklace, They wear it every day, it is all they wear, and the only reason they are in now is to get a new clasp on it, so they can wear it everyday for 2 more years, well... maybe we are making it almost too good! ( Just Kidding!!) Anyway......My goal really is to make a living here. Doing something I am good at and enjoy doing. It is the American Dream, right! I would like to take advantage of that. Seeing all that is going on in our world today just makes me more grateful for our wonderful country, and makes me more determined to do my part in keeping my business and my dream, and other small businesses alive and prospering...especially through the tough times many a business owner surely has experienced these last couple of years! I like to think of myself as an artist of sorts. Designing anything, pretty much is fun for me. I paint, I draw, I do murals, and I love to decorate rooms, (I REALLY love those decorating shows!) I cannot sing worth a hoot, and I am a bit clumsy on my feet, but I have great eyesight, nimble fingers, and an eye for all things aesthetically pleasing. So, I guess, with "Hobby Craft" going on in my closets, it only seemed natural that I get into making jewelry also ! Someday, I would like to learn how to blow glass, and tattoo as well. It never hurts to acquire new skills! You never know when you might be able to use them! This is Felicity, she is one of my great helpers. She is a Libra just like me , so we get along well. While I do the designing and custom orders, she keeps my racks stocked with various beaded jewelry. Sometimes I tell her exactly what to make, and sometimes I leave it up to her to come up with some designs of her own. She does the macrame belts that the teen girls like so much.  One of these days, I will teach her how to work on this website, since keeping up with it is very time consuming for me, while I have a million other things to do!his
